Contact card (vCard) QR code
Print it on a business card or the menu's back page. One scan saves your details to the phone's contacts.
What would you like to share?
Choose a type, then add your content.
Your content stays in your browser.
How to make it
- Fill in only what you want people to save.
- Keep it short: every extra field makes the code denser and harder to scan small.
- Download it and print it at least 2.5 cm across.
Questions
What is a vCard? A standard format for contact details that every phone's address book understands.
Why does my code look so dense? Every character is stored in the pattern. Leave out fields you don't need, or link to a web page instead.
Can I update the details later? Not on a static code. Point a dynamic code at a contact page if your details change often.
When a free code isn't enough
A static code stores its content directly in the pattern. Dynamic codes use a redirect service so their destination can change later. The dynamic designer is available to explore; its redirects and scan tracking are not connected yet. Static vs dynamic, explained.
